Okay, it took me the better part of 3 damn hours, but I finally figured out that just by changing the extension of a file, you're not actually converting it.
Right. Who works with 24 computer geniuses? Not me! (i do. i'm just their bitch.)
So. I went from .aif to .mp3 and VOILA! 3mb instead of 38mb. Totally uploadable file.
