approaching vapid with periodic bouts of genius

do YOU go to haywards in the summer?

Yo.

So the subject of lurkers has come up recently. I'm cool with lurkers, I've been one and I know usually it's more of a lack of something to say rather than any kind of weird image that the word "lurk" brings up, but I do have to request that one of you outs yourself.

It's a little bit freaking me out, this person from Nashua, I'll be honest. Or near Nashua. Just 'cause I'm from near Nashua and I want to know who you are. And it's only freaking me out if you KNOW me but haven't said anything. So say something and I won't be freaked out anymore. If you are someone who I don't know, and you just happen to be in or near Nashua, hey! Crazy coincidence, huh? Who are you? :) Or, you may even be someone on my buddy list (or I'm on yours?) and we never knew we were from the same area, which is cool. We can talk about things like the Pheasant Lane Mall and Greeley Park! I don't know why we would, I just like to name drop. Or maybe you knew because I'm not very good at keeping up that anonymity thing, though I've never actually STATED my last name. Which is probably good. I've definitely never put out my social security number or bank account pin, which is definitely good. See? I'm TOTALLY on top of it. Responsible adult, that's me!

OK for everyone else, I don't know quite how the new layout went from "tiki-feel" to "jungle sex" but I have to say I am utterly delighted. Oh, and also, I was relieved about my three-tiered discovery. First, I read "William Morris" and mentally translated that into "Philip Morris" and I was like "Why is Hiss telling me my blog reminds her of Big Tobacco?" Then, "And why is Violet agreeing with her? And what's this about empire waisted gowns and spanking people?" Then I was like "OH! WILLIAM Morris! Like the Agency! I get it! ... Wait, what?" But then I used the Most Powerful Tool In The Universe. Wikipedia. And I figured it out. Ahhhhhh...

I hang my head in shame for my ignorance. Thank you for enlightening me. Best part is, I could have just not included any of this in this post, and everyone would have assumed I was right there with you two Queens of Blogdom, but I'm honest to a fault. Except when I'm not, I guess.

I have to stop now. I'm just making it worse. Everyone have a good day!
