approaching vapid with periodic bouts of genius
Okay.
Negative vibes BE GONE!. I am cyber-smudging this diary.
Here's some pretty cool news. Yesterday... yesterday, man... I fucking JOGGED. Nice!
3 times! For one minute each time!
Okay. All you runners out there, stop laughing. I am at my non-smoking weight and I am wicked out of shape. I've never been able to jog 10 feet in my life. I totally attribute my newfound status as Super Jogging Woman to my swimming. Unfortunately because I've been so busy at work I haven't been able to go swimming at all this week. Which is why I jogged. (Oh, and by the way, there was a lot of walking before, after and in between those jogs, it's not like I ONLY jogged for 3 minutes, SEPARATELY and then was done.) No travel time between me and the exercise. Also, the SUN WAS OUT!!!!
I don't know if you guys follow New England weather from where you are. What am I saying, OF COURSE YOU DO!!! I mean come on, it's a total crowd pleaser! You know how the saying goes, If you don't like it, (say it with me now) WAIT FIVE MINUTES!!!
::cue 70's game show music and audience applause::
Yeah so it's been bible raining here for like 40 days. Um, or like 5 or so. But there's been some pretty intense flooding situations here lately. Yesterday (before The Man Who Would Kill My Spirit And Who Sounds Like Dwight From The Office When He Talks came on the scene) I was up from the computer screen gettin' me a glassa water and I looked outside and saw BLUE SKY! Seriously, my reaction was big and in no way contrived. I exclaimed, loudly, "OHMYGOD! OH! MY! GOD! THERE'S BLUE SKY!!!" and then realized how ubiquitous this bible rain must have been because I was totally shocked at how shocked I was to see the sky. (wait. is that like seeing what condition your condition is in?)
So I went out and okay this is boring even me at this point, and I am NEVER bored by my boring stories. Point is, Hates Me Man is not the most recent entry on this blog. I'd rather have boring weather/pseudo jog talk than evil negativity. Though, Violet, that drink at 7:30 am was mighty fine! Especially in combination with the gorgeous sunny chirpy fresh greentitude of the morning, it really was like the First Kiss of Summer!
Oh, and since this entry is a total washout anyway (oh, pun INTENDED) this message is specifically for Miss Violet: Darling, of course I keep records of the mixes I've made for you, because THEY ARE FUCKING BRILLIANT (um.) if you need another copy of The One With Debbie Gibson on it, I will be more than happy to oblige.
Oh, and Jane? Dude. Seriously? Who's Crying Now? Best fucking song ever. Reminds me of driving down Storrow Drive in the rain freshman year to go visit this cutie from Harvard who I met at an a cappella dootdedoo.
Oh, and everyone else? Go click on Jane. She's awesome. You'll love her. And she's got QUITE the little scheme going on. I'm totally entranced.
